Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Gram Jyoti Yojana Scheme by Prime Minister Narendra Modi Sir DDUGJY at Patna,Inauguration of Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Gram Jyoti Yojana for Rural Empowerment by Narendra Modi Hon'ble Prime Minister of India on 25 July 2015 at Veterinary College Maidan,Patna.This scheme will replace the existing Rajiv Gandhi Grameen Vidyutikaran Yojana (RGGVY).

Inauguration of Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Gram Jyoti Yojana (DDUGJY) for Rural Empowerment in India at Patna on 25th July,2015.Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be Launcing the Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Gram Jyoti Yojana in Patna on 25th July at 10:30am.The new scheme of Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Gram Jyoti Yojana (DDUGJY), recently approved by the Union Government.The Main Features is about the Electricity in Villages will be 24x7 full Power Supply in Rural India.It is one of the key initiative of Modi Government and it aims to supply 24x7 uninterrupted power supply to all homes.This scheme will replace the existing Rajiv Gandhi Grameen Vidyutikaran Yojana (RGGVY).Projects for rural electrification worth Rs.76,000/-Crore out of which subsidy of 63,000 crore given by the Govt of India.Rajiv Gandhi Grameen Vidyutikaran Yojana RGGVY had been launched by previous UPA government to provide electricity connections to all rural households in India.And Now the latest scheme was mainly concentrate on feeders for full supply of electricity in villages.

Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Gram Jyoti Yojana Sailent Features:

• Electrification of each Village
• Sufficient and consistent electricity supply in agriculture and non-agriculture lines by separation of feeders.
• Improvement in sub-transmission & distribution network.
• Improvement in quality & reliability of electricity supply.
• Reduction in losses of electricity due to metering.
• Access of electricity to additional five crore people of Bihar.
• All villages and households should have electricity.
